In Loving Memory Of Kathy Bennett

 Kathy Bennett

10.09.2003

 Kathy was a very loving mother to Vicky & Chris (Adored by both) and a very special Nan to Sophie also a very much loved daughter of her late parents. Kathy was also a very good friend & colleague who touched the hearts of many and left impressions that can never be erased.

Kath spent many years helping bereaved people and was amazing with her ability to empathise and care for those at a time in need. Kath also helped so much with the landican baby memorial garden.

When at work she was a true professional and when on an evening out, a girl who enjoyed fun and laughter she had the most incredible infectious laugh. Kath hated it when I referred to her as Kat Slater, however, she does look like her and my remarks to Kath were far cleaner than hers to me but we loved the banter.

It would not be appropriate to go into detail here regarding the reasons Kath left her work place however, those of us who knew her know the reason why and who the individual was that caused her to leave.

That individual unlike Kath was known to be selfish and step on anyone’s toes to get what she wanted and one day someone will step on that person in a huge way.

We should always live life, enjoy each day, do not do to others what we wouldn’t want done to us, love and help others and feel richer knowing that you have.

I believe Kath would be here today had she remained at her place of work amongst those she loved to be with.

We are never able to turn back time and so we move on in life with the comfort and knowledge that this very special lady is in a better place away from pain, sadness and sorrow.

Kath will live on within her children and her adorable Grandchildren and we have peace of mind knowing this.

To end;

Kathy was and will always be remembered for all the good she did whilst here, for her kindness, caring for others and for her mischievous telephone conversations between offices.

Rest in peace and be waiting for us when our day arrives.

That ends my tribute to this special lady.
